Services.
Midwife Rach offers comprehensive, continuity-of-care midwifery services supporting women and families through pregnancy, labour and birth, and the postnatal period. Antenatal care is personalised and relationship-based, with regular appointments throughout pregnancy that include clinical assessments, antenatal and childbirth education, referrals for ultrasounds and pathology, prescribing when required, and time to debrief previous pregnancy or birth experiences. Clients benefit from consistent access to evidence-based resources, a curated lending library, and 24/7 phone support, fostering confidence, informed decision-making, and trust.
Labour and birth care is provided with full on-call availability from 37 weeks’ gestation, ensuring timely, familiar, and continuous support when labour begins. Midwife Rach attends labour and birth with comprehensive midwifery and emergency equipment and is joined by a second qualified midwife, as required by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with this support included in the cost of care. For those choosing water birth, a professional birth pool is supplied and delivered prior to birth, with assistance provided for set-up and post-birth pack-down, allowing families to focus on bonding and recovery.
Postnatal care extends from the immediate days following birth through to six to eight weeks postpartum, with frequent visits tailored to each family’s needs. Care includes breastfeeding support, newborn and maternal assessments, baby weighing, and practical mothercraft guidance, with additional visits available for first-time parents. This ongoing, consistent postnatal support ensures early identification of concerns, promotes physical and emotional wellbeing, and provides families with reassurance and continuity during the transition into parenthood.
